Guest guest
Happy New Year to everyone. We just had Elliott to the doctor to remove the first casts and to have the stitches removed. So far everything looks great. Elliott was happy to be able to bend his legs, at least for the short time. Unfortunately for my little guy, he is back in casts for another two weeks. The new casts are somewhat smaller, they come up just above his knees. He is only able to walk by holding on to somebody or something. However, he doesnt experience any pain when he is doing this. We hope that after the next two weeks that the cast will be off for good. RIght now, our doctor is unsure about what type of follow up Elliott will need for his feet, meaning, whether Elliott will go back into a DBB or into his Bebox shoes at night. Either way, just being able to see him walk on his own, and not sit on the floor, looking up at us saying " I stuck " , will be a happy moment. Thanks to everyone, and our best wishest for a happy and healthy New Year! Barry and Traci Kalmus Parents of Elliott, age
