Guest guest Posted April 24, 2002 Report Share Posted April 24, 2002 What visual signs, if any, indicate that your veggies are fermenting? I made some daikon and kraut 8 days ago and a few of the jars are looking a bit different. As NT suggests, there has been some expansion of contents, but I am also seeing liquid separation. Much of the liquid in each jar is now on the bottom, below the shredded veggies. I also see tiny bubbles interspersed throughout the veggie contents. Any observations? Thanks!
