I bring with me extra meat with peices of butter and

some vegetables (fermented and/or raw), and this makes

a great snack. But I have to eat it at my desk pretty

much. Cheese would make a good " portable " snack. Raw

milk is good too.

Cheese and homemade sausage travel well. As do nuts. It's been hard for me

to find protein that is portable also. Freezer bags are great though, and

those little ice blocks!

Chicken breasts or any meat, raw cheese, walnuts, fresh strawberries, green

salad, raw cheese.

I usually bring salad with salmon or chicken breast or

cheese. The only low-carb fermented veggies I do are

cucumbers and cabbage, some of which can be added to

salad.

This is all lunch, though, not snack. I am aiming at

sticking to 3 meals a day right now.

cut back on white flour cause I'm simply not eating bread much nor

say that I probably need more fats for energy( raw I'm not sure, and

if raw what is edible?) since I'm cutting back on some carbohydrate

calories. Some one mentioned that info previously too. It seems to

me switching diets (if I even had one) is difficult and it's beginning

to look like a personal trainer/nutritionist/ " experienced " expert is

needed. Regards, Dennis

This isn't home grown fat but coconut milk/oil and avocadoes give me the extra

fat for energy now that the sugar and grains are nearly gone here. Been adding

lots of avocado and celery to my salads. The Thai Kitchen Pure coconut milk I

eat at least a few tablespoons straight from the fridge a day. Make eggnog

with

it from the can too.
