Guest guest
Whipping cream has 6.6 carbs per cup - which is 0.41 carbs per tablespoon. Because the carbs per serving (1 tablespoon) are less than 0.5, they can call it 0 on the label. But no matter what the label says, not matter what the brand is, there are 6.6 carbs per cup. It could actually be slightly more if your label has dextrose as an ingredient (some do - check the label). Kirstie
Guest guest
Well, that is highly depressing! I had not even thought that there could carbs in something that stated no carbs on the label. I was thrilled when I tried Splenda because it tastes almost like sugar and (I thought) it had no carbs! --- Kirstie Hawkey wrote: > Whipping cream has 6.6 carbs per cup - which is 0.41 > carbs per tablespoon. > > Because the carbs per serving (1 tablespoon) are > less than 0.5, they can > call it 0 on the label. Guest guest
heavy whipping cream (about 35% milk fat) has 6.6 carbs per cup. As the milk fat lowers, the carbs go up, until regular milk is 12 carbs per cup. Coffee cream (18% m.f.) has almost 9 carbs per cup. Blend (10% m.f.) has about 10 carbs per cup. The DaVinci syrups can be counted as 0 because their artificial sweetner is suspended in water. The carbs from sweetners actually come from the filler material used to give them bulk. If you can find liquid sweetner you can count it as 0 and tablets have just a trace. Kirstie
