Guest guest
> Maybe I should take DA's advice and try another diet for a couple of days. , In my opinion, you should just keep yourself in ketosis and try to be patient. People who have very little to lose will lose quite a bit slower than people with a lot to lose. Are you still at 20 carbs or did you raise your intake? Your level might be a bit high but, more likely, it's just going to take time. Wanda
Guest guest
I wouldn't bother - you are so close to goal that it probably wouldn't matter and switching diet plans can reintroduce cravings for foods you have gotten used to not having. You are in pre-maintenance and now is when you need to learn how to eat this way for the rest of your life. How many carbs do you eat each day? Are you exercising? As you slowly up your carbs to maintenance levels, you may need to watch your fat intake a little more. Kirstie
Guest guest
, My vote is that if you are in ketosis, just keep doing what you are doing. If you aren't cheating, but aren't losing pounds . . . have you checked to see if you are losing inches instead? If you are, that's as good as pounds lost. Just keep plugging. This close to your goal, it will be much slower than for those having more pounds to lose. Terry168/158.75/156 (minigoal)/ ? Guest guest
Wanda, Kirstie and Terry thank you so much for your input. I guess I won't switch horses in midstream. I just lost so much weight the first 2 weeks, these last 8 weeks have been discouraging weight- wise. I am enjoying this woe and could eat like this forever, so I guess I have to be more patient. I guess it is true about those last 10 lbs. no matter how you are trying to lose it. There have been no inches lost in the last month, at least not in my waist, stomach or hips. I haven't been measuring my chest though because if that is where I am losing it would be too depressing. Thanks gals, I will hang in there and keep ya posted.
