Hello all:

There are alot of facial scrubs in this book, so I'll continue on.

Scrub for oily skin

Good for: normal to oily skin

Use: three times per week

Follow with: Astringent, then moisturizer

Prep time: approx. 10 mins

Mix with: blender or food processor

Store in: zip-seal bag, low tub/ jar, or tin

Yeilds: Approx. 16 treatments

Special: Great for oily areas on shoulders, chest, and back

Ingredients:

1/2 cup ground Oatmeal

1/2 cup almond meal

1 TBSP sea salt

1 tsp. ground peppermint leaves

1 tsp. grpund rosemary leaves

astringent of choice (see recipes)

Thoroughly mix all dry ingredients. Mix 1 Tablespoon of scrub with enough

astringent to form a paste. Allow to thicken. Massage gently onto face and

throat. Rinse

Here's another

Body Srub

Good for: All skin types

Use: As desired

follow with: Moisturizer, if desired

Prep time: approx. 5 mins

Mix with: Small bowel and spoon

Store in: Make recipie only as needed. Do not store.

Yeilds: 1 treatment

Special: Leaves calloused area especially soft

Igredients

1/4 cup Sea Salt

1/4 cup warmed coconut or olive oil

Stir both ingredients together. Massage onto body with hands or mitt using a

light, but firm pressure. Continue massaging, not rubbing, until a rosy glow

appears. Rinse with warm water, towel dry.
