Guest guest
Does anyone have any primary sources indicating that ruminant *whole body* lipid profile does or does not reflect dietary lipid profile? I know *I* posted one the other day (albeit not primary) that clearly described how ruminant gut bacteria saturate some of the unsaturates in their diet. But, I'm discussing this on another list and someone posted 3 abstracts that demonstrate that diet does indeed affect both fat depots and milk lipids in ruminants.
