After about 30 seconds I realized what was happening and started employing some deep breathing and trying to do that 54321 thing. I didn't really get very far but trying to focus on something else did help me relax and breathe. Something on the tv show I was watching made me think about my own death (and while this has never freaked me out in the past) and I started just freaking out and panicking. I'm still a little worked up but okay now. That was really intense. I'm trying to figure out what brought it on. ------------------------------------ **This group is based on principles in Randi Kreger's new book The Essential Family Guide to Borderline Personality Disorder: New Tips and Tools to Stop Walking on Eggshells, available at www.BPDCentral.com.** Problems?
