Guest guest
I was really hoping this wouldn't happen. You know, this is only a few miles from the small town where I grew up. Could child abuse be a trend there? http://www.ksl.com/?nid=148 & sid=14233682
Guest guest
Grrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!! That woman has not served nearly enough time for her crime... not that there is enough time in the world for what she did. Guest guest
I'm willing to bet that if it had been the adoptive *father* who had killed his little adopted daughter with water torture (or by having sex with her) that they wouldn't let *him* out. Like hell they would allow him to go back home and be around his other daughters. A father (adopted or no) who did such a thing would probably never see the light of day outside of prison again. I think there is a genuine blind, mindless prejudice in favor of mothers/motherhood. God knows why, but mothers are cut reams of slack in the area of child abuse. Here is a really good example of it, in spades. Its sickening. I just hope her bio-kids that she'll be alone with and in charge of will live through the experience. The momster will need a replacement " scapegoat " now. -Annie > > > > > > > I was really hoping this wouldn't happen. You know, this is only a few > > miles > > from the small town where I grew up. Guest guest
UTah huh. Interesting. My mother's family came from UT. My mother tells stories about my grandmother that were borderline cruel as well although grandmother was never cruel with me. My mother went back there and there she stays. Interesting geographical theory but there would have to be a lot of data to correlate any truth to the hypothesis. > > I was really hoping this wouldn't happen. Guest guest
Unfortunately, I don't think cruelty to children occurs in pockets or certain cultures or certain locations; its everywhere. -Annie > > > > I was really hoping this wouldn't happen. Guest guest
How unfortunate that the minor children have no options in this situation. Minor children rarely do. I'm betting its really just daddy dearest who is wanting the momster to come back home; he probably misses his main squeeze, but the kids...? They're probably terrified. If you read that article I posted the link to, about how trauma bonding works ( " Some Parents Don't Love Their Kids " ) it says that terrified abused kids will often profess to love their all-powerful abuser very much. Its a coping/survival mechanism. -Annie > > The bio kids.... dont want her around them unsupervised ever!!!!!!
