Guest guest
At the risk of being told all therapists should be laying dead in the streets, I thought I'd share some exciting news. I've been put on the waiting list for a counseling psychology PhD program that would begin in the fall. It is about 2 hours from my home. I am waiting for 2 closer programs to respond. I have mixed feelings about being wait listed - but I've been out of school for 13 years, so maybe they are giving preference to people already submerged in acadamia. This could really happen! Wow! Guest guest
Wow GS! That's so exciting!!! Try to look at it this way, if you're on a wait list but can still find out what class/program requirements are, you can start studying & preparing to go back into academia! I did that with dosage calculations as it had been quite a while since having a math class and it helped me a ton. Granted, a PhD program is much more difficult, but still! I'm so excited for you!!! You'd make a fabulous counselor! Keep us posted =) Mia > > >
Guest guest
Oh love you guys! No, I think dosage calculations would be harder - the social sciences come very easy but calculations do not!!! XOXO > > > Wow GS! That's so exciting!!! Guest guest
Congratulations Cowboy! Please become a damned good therapist as there are so many marginal ones out there (as you know). You will love, love, love being in a doctoral program. I loved mine. Those were some of the happiest years of my life!
