Guest guest
So the drama mamas kinda got a taste of what they deserve after their performance in class Wednesday. My instructor rocks so she was very fair & yet firm about it. Basically we all got 25 points for doing a group project in class and since they left early, they didn't get it. They started to complain & say they were going to go to someone higher up, and my instructor said " I all ready spoke to the president of the school. By all means, you can try, but I don't think you're going to win " . Surprisingly, today was much more drama-free. It was great =D Hopefully they'll get the point. They HAVE GOT to be aware that the instructor/s as well as the administrators are on to their shenanigans. They also got written up, which goes into their file. Basically, 3 write ups and you're out. Granted, you could still really flub up and get kicked out with less than 3 (obviously) but I honestly do hope they will get it together & get with the program so to speak. Though, I am not naive enough to think that it will happen. Then again, I like being proven wrong on stuff like that! I wanted to hug my instructor after she said that first thing this morning. Rock on, Ms. Instructor! Ty for putting your foot down & being fair the the rest of us who cooperated and stuck around =) Still can't believe they just stood up & left while the stand-in instructor (who is basically 2nd in command over our nursing program) was lecturing. Oh my oh my. Might be able to get away with that in a huge class, but when you've got 20ish students, yep... much more noticeable. So today, I applaud my instructor and administrators for doing the right thing. Mia

Guest guest
Yeah, hopefully they got the chips knocked off their shoulders and will straighten up and fly right now. Hopefully it's just the kind of arrogance that comes with youth. I had it too (they are younger, right?). Usually people can outgrow that. I think of some crap I pulled while in school and just shake my head at myself. But I was young and stupid and thought I knew everything. Isn't that the mantra of youth? > > So the drama mamas kinda got a taste of what they deserve after their > performance in class Wednesday. Guest guest
That's encouraging that the princesses are straightening up, and its encouraging to know that the school does boot out real screw-ups with their " three strikes and you're out " policy. Only time will tell if these individuals truly want to do the hard work and study it takes to become nurses, or not. Thanks for the update! -Annie > > So the drama mamas kinda got a taste of what they deserve after their > performance in class Wednesday. Guest guest
lol, thanks guys. Yes, they are younger. Not sure on their ages, I'd say 19 - 22? Maybe it is a thing that comes with youth. I think I skipped it growing up (like many other " normal " things younger folks do) due to my nada... or should I say due to the fear of her. Yikes. I can put up with it without acting like an arse myself, but, yeah this is getting really old. In other news... I have found several gray hairs. I think I am having a mini mid-life crisis. I feel too young for it =\ So I'm dying it tonight haha. Mia > > > > Told ya so! >

Guest guest
lol, thanks Doug & Girlscout! I have to use eyebrow powder stuff on them to even make them visible! When I plucked one and showed fiance, he looked at the top of my head & said, " You've got some here, and here, and here too " . I just gave him the evil eye and dyed my hair! Feel too young for this. Maybe it's the drama mamas, fiance's crazy uBPD ex wife, and BPD nada/grandnada who have given me grays! Someone must pay! lol.
