Guest guest
I was reading around on the internet, procrastinating on my homework, when I ran across a website: http://www.dontevenreply.com/ Basically, this guy pretends to be other people, and acts like an asshole. It made me laugh at how ridiculous his statements are, and how he purposefully elicits angry emotions from all the people he emails. He also, in whatever pseudonym he's pretending to be, sometimes puts the blame on the other person in really ridiculous ways about strange things. Then I got to thinking. Geez, in some of his troll emails (he's basically trolling) he sounds a lot like the ridiculous things our nadas and fadas email us, or say to us...just to elicit emotion from US. On this guy's website, it's obvious he's doing it for a laugh, and it's obvious to us about how ridiculous some of his statements are. Yet in real life, with our parents, it's so difficult to realize. But we do need to realize when our parents are trolling us, trying to goad us into feeling bad. When our parents try to guilt us or troll us, we need to keep in mind the name of the guy's website--- " Don't Even Reply. " So, next time your parents try to do something like this guy does, remember that the only way to win is not to play the game. So, don't even reply! Guest guest
Hi Got an email from nada today. Her usual passive aggressive it's not me it's you blah blah blah. I initially felt rage but then remembered this saying and just clicked delete! Much better way to deal with it!
