Guest guest
Hi I came across this nada speak to english dictionary on an NPD website (I think my nada may be more towards NPD with some BPD thrown in) which had me crying with laughter. As much of it can apply to both BPD and NPD nadas/fadas I thought I'd share; it made me laugh. My favourite is: Nada speak-What have I done wrong? English meaning-I have the right to interfere in your life and abuse you without any consequences. http://www.daughtersofnarcissisticmothers.com/narcissistic-mother-dictionary.htm\ l x Nav

Guest guest
I love it, too. I've heard many of these from my fada. > > > Wow, that is awesome. > > > > > > > Hi > > I came across this nada speak to english dictionary on an NPD website (I > think my nada may be more towards NPD with some BPD thrown in) which had me > crying with laughter. > > > > As much of it can apply to both BPD and NPD nadas/fadas I thought I'd > share; it made me laugh. > > > > My favourite is: > > Nada speak-What have I done wrong? > > English meaning-I have the right to interfere in your life and abuse you > without any consequences. > > > > > http://www.daughtersofnarcissisticmothers.com/narcissistic-mother-dictionary.htm\ l > > > > x > > Nav > > > > >
Guest guest
Welcome to the Group, Recovery! And thanks for sharing this info, I think that idea is hilarious and that a " Personality Disorder Speak - to- English Dictionary " has marketing potential! -Annie > > Hi > I came across this nada speak to english dictionary on an NPD website (I think my nada may be more towards NPD with some BPD thrown in) which had me crying with laughter. > > As much of it can apply to both BPD and NPD nadas/fadas I thought I'd share; it made me laugh. > > My favourite is: > Nada speak-What have I done wrong? > English meaning-I have the right to interfere in your life and abuse you without any consequences. > > http://www.daughtersofnarcissisticmothers.com/narcissistic-mother-dictionary.htm\ l > > x > Nav >
Guest guest
These made me laugh. Well the last one made me go ---- oooooh that's why she always said that. 1. I love you = I've heard people say this and it seems to get a good reaction. 2. I never said that = Yes I said that but it doesn't work in the conversation right now. 3. That's sad = It's so exciting! I love being this close to tragedies! The drama! 4. You were very difficult to raise. = You resisted my attempts to violate your boundaries, abuse you and humiliate you. Guest guest
This is SOOOOOOOOO true! Over the years I had heard a lot of these from MY nada, but it's over for me now as some of you know my nada passed March 21st. I now would like to help people here who are still going through the strain of dealing with their nadas.
Guest guest
My favorite of the moment is " I'm so proud of you. " Mine has just started using that the past couple weeks. I've never heard her say that before and it's making me nervous. LOL But she does like to talk to strangers about me, tell them about my work or my surgeries or my heart issues. I don't get involved in that because it is really about her and what wild things she can tell them to grab their attention. Just like wearing dark glasses everywhere. She says her eyes are sensitive but who wears dark glasses inside? Then she grins and says everyone is looking at her, can't keep their eyes off of her. Ewww. The other good one is " How are you? " I get one sentence out and away she goes talking about her own life. If I was a guy and said I had a swollen prostate gland, she'd probably find some way to tie that into her own life. Amazing. > > Hi > I came across this nada speak to english dictionary on an NPD website (I think my nada may be more towards NPD with some BPD thrown in) which had me crying with laughter.
