If you feel like you need to send a card but don't want to actually have to

do it, you may set up something with a friend. For many years, I had a

friend buy, sign, and stamp a father's day card to my narcissistic father

(now dead). I have no idea if he noticed the change in handwriting, (I never

heard) but he got what he wanted and I was off the hook. An idea for next

year, perhaps.
