Guest guest
I just learned something new about Facebook privacy and I thought I'd better share. So I had to stay friends with Waif Boss, because I work with her. . . but she does this thing where she watches what I post on Facebook and then brings it up in a " nah nah nah " voice and acts like she knows all my secrets. It bugs the hell out of me. So I kept her as a friend, and I can see what she posts, but I changed my privacy settings so that she and her daughters can't see what I post. Then I got to work yesterday and she says " oh nah nah nah hi I saw you did some cooking this weekend. I saw pictures. " (I can't even describe the voice its so irritating. So the secret is - you can block people from seeing your posts, but they can still see your pictures. You have to block them in 2 places under account - privacy settings- and then I think its customize. Block both posts and pictures. I believe they can still go straight to your wall to catch up on you though, but at least it gives me some feeling of control.
Guest guest
Hey Girlscout, Even though it is against Facebook TOS to carry to accounts, I have lots of friends who do so for a variety of reasons, privacy issues and keeping a separate gaming account are the usual reasons. You could make a separate account and only invite those you really want there--and leave the other account for the waif boss. Just an idea. > > I just learned something new about Facebook privacy and I thought I'd better > share. Guest guest
My mother and your boss are very alike. She uses that same " nah nah " voice if I leave my kids with her. " SO, I heard from Sally that you and your husband.... " It is beyond irritating. I just ignore it or do the Medium Chill! hee! thanks for this tip. I'm going to remember it if I ever get Facebook. My teen daughter is fiercely campaigning for one. > > I just learned something new about Facebook privacy and I thought I'd better > share.
