Guest guest
Merry Christmas Everyone!! JD just got moved back down to the floor yesterday. Here is what we now know. JD is off the BiPap Machine and back on his home ventilator that they use in the hospital. He had been on 40% of oxygen and today they moved him to 26%, which is wonderful. Once they get him off the oxygen then they are going to go down on the pressure controls. As of now he is going to go back on the vent at night. This would be considered a CPap. This would give him enough pressure support that he needs. He may get to come home sometime late next week. They are also going to run a CScan because they have some question about doing a Vascular Ring around his Trach. This would hold the trachea better so that it won’t collapse again. and I are at peace that JD will not be home for Christmas. So we are going to bring it to him. Child Life Specialist are going to provide some presents and a mat for me, JD and Olivia to sit on the floor and open presents. is going to have the camera and video ready. Olivia went to her doctor Monday and found out that she has an ear infection, and needs to be on some of the same breathing treatments that JD is on. She is starting to walk now and getting very good at it. and I are doing pretty good and tomorrow we are celebrating our 4 year anniversary. is going to give me a really great present. On Friday I am going to a Day Spa. I will be getting a facial (never had that before) , massage, reflexology, lunch..ect. I am so looking forward to this. Next week we should know more about when JD will get to come home. Guest guest
spent her first Christmas at Children's. Santa came for and at the hospital while I slept in the chair - and he didn't even wake me! They do a very good Christmas at Children's - if you must be there. I hope JD continues to improve. Happy anniversery. Lori Myers -------------- Original message -------------- From: erin32573@... Merry Christmas Everyone!! JD just got moved back down to the floor yesterday. Guest guest
, First, what a lovely gift!! JD is so very thoughtful!! Second, Happy Anniversary!! Third, I am glad that JD is doing better and the oxygen situation is improving. While it will be sad not to have him home for CHristmas, how lovely that you can all be together--not the way you wanted it, but everyone cozying up to each other will be nice. Despite this, I hope it is merry and sweet. pam Children Update Merry Christmas Everyone!! JD just got moved back down to the floor yesterday. Here is what we now know.
