Guest guest
That's a very tough ? as it's very individual. For us we see a doc that knows both & treats both @ the same time...sometimes rotating supplements as the body rotates through the cycles. In my many years of treating my son it's not so much a treat one thing then move to the next doc to treat the next thing...it's more a cycle... treat lyme a little bit then the body cycles to viruses as a big stressors...as we treat the viruses the metals kick-up (bringing w/it toxic metal issues both behaviourally & body issues)...which in turn kicks up the yeast...get the yeast under control then you start the cycles again. For us we also use more naturals that actually treat both lyme & viral @ the same time which many of the herbal products do. We stay on the base support+killing protocol(for us it's the LDM-100 (which is a natural antibacterial, antiviral & antifungal) & Immusist (PLEASE don't start them together if you are not on LDM-100 already as LDM-100 is strong in itself). As the layers cycle we add in extra of what the body is currently needing (our docs ART test these to keep our negative reaction down & I feel we progress better & faster because of the additional things w/bring on board to further tackle what the stressers are at the time...again, this changes as the body tackles one stressor then moves to the next. I believe you can move forward just on some basis like Immusist (the surfactants)though if you can do nothing else. In case you are not familiar w/it...here's what I feel is a good explanation of the cycling that takes place...this includes a detox/healing cycling: From the TACA website, Medical tab then " A comprehensive Antiviral Approach " : http://www.tacanow.org/family-resources/a-comprehensive-antiviral-approach/ One other thing that I just thought of so you could " see " this. In the files is a child that was going through an LDM-100 detox symptoms/rash. In this groups Files is a copy of 4 Zyto organism movement reports put into 1 spreadsheet. You can see the organism movement on this treatment within just a couple of weeks. You'll see the lyme spike, then w/in a few days the measles then it moves to some other viruses then metals then yeast related organisms. Hope this helps explain it further...sorry it's so difficult..detox & treatment with all these things is just complecated. The good news is there are many practioners that get all of it. Guest guest
Another thing to consider is that an LLMD certainly knows how to treat viruses, and does, but a NIDS Dr. will have no idea how to treat Lyme. LLMD's treat the entire body and immune system, because Lyme and co-infections affect everything. Guest guest
Do you have a positive western blot? We use antibiotics foy Lyme, Bartonella, strep and valtrex. Lyme dr rxed antibiotics and our DAN rxed valtrex and anti fungal. My Dan would treat both, but I won't give up my llmd. I will say that no DAN would have been able to dx Lyme and confections in my son. It is so important to dx and treat co infections. There is only 1 dr that I know that really does it all well and he starts with parasites and then Lyme and co infections and then valtrex. > > I was wondering for my 7 year old ASD son who has Lyme and viruses, which one needs to be treated first? > > Figuring out which one to treat would affect the direction for our next steps inour treatment plan i.e. If we treat Lyme first we would see a Lyme doctor, if we treat viruses first we would see a NIDS doctor. > > Thanks in advance! > Pat >

Guest guest
Yes, positive western blot and Igenex, our DAN has him on Samento but don't think that is strong enough for Lyme, our DAN isn't treating viruses. Guest guest
When we got a positive for Lyme and then co-infections for my dd, we left our DAN! to go with a LLMD (and then I found out I had it, passed in utero and breast-feeding) Our DAN, who I really liked, offered to try and treat the Lyme, but it is really complex, and I knew we needed an expert. Out here in CA, we are fortunate to have some LLMD's that treat children as well as adults, and treat the whole body/immune system - parasites, viral, and all infections. But it is not cheap. Actually, about the same as our DAN dr. charged. Just after all this time, going broke. Sure wish I had known about the Lyme sooner. The LLMD is the last house on the block for us. > > > Pat > > > > > >
