Guest guest
I read bits and pieces about Ginger but I'm not sure about the health effects or how much to eat. It sure has a lot of sugar. Is ginger good for A-fib, for keeping you blood thin, or only good if your taking Warfarin? Thanks for any info. Lynn

It is supposed to help clean the intestinal tract and for me it also seems to help to keep my blood thin, even though I take 10mg of Coumadin daily except Wednesdays when it is 5mg. I take some ginger about an hour before the INR test. But, always remember that it is also very, very important that I make sure I have some high vitamin K veggies daily to improve viscosity, prevent osteoporosis because vitamin K has a role in calcium metabolism and may also prevent bleeding and blood clots and other long term effects of Coumadin usage.
