Well, my update:

I'm taking two taxation classes at college this Fall (individual & business) and continuing to take Thai language. The instructor for individual taxation is quite the ol' school marm. She looks about as old as my mom (70+) and can be quite cantankerous. She'll say things like "Now put on your listening ears and listen to what I'm about to say because I don't want to repeat it." And, "Tell them what page it's on it the textbook because I know most of the class didn't read it." But, she's fairly lenient in her actual grading. I had a mistake on a tax return and I still managed a score of 101%!

I've been going to opera the past few weeks. An older friend paid for my tickets. (He's generous to a fault.) So, we've seen "Werther," "Aida," and "Marriage of Figaro" so far. We'll see "Cyrano" Oct. 27 and "Madama Butterfly" in November.

This past week I found out that my neuro at UCSF had moved to Arizona! So, I'll have an appointment with a new neuro, Dr. Crabtree, on November 8. She's actually a well-known researcher of MS.

I'm going to try having my own copy editing/technical writing business part-time to supplement SSDI. I purchased a domain name make-it-write.net but need to set up the web site to advertise. So, if you know anyone needing copy editing, proofreading or technical writing, send him/her my way.

For some reason UCSF couldn't tell me where in Arizona. But, I suppose it's in the Phoenix area. His name is Dr. Darin Okuda.Dan U dao_nguu@...

It's good to see Whisper isn't spoiled or too pampered:)I loved reading your description of your school marm! How funny. I had an English/writing teacher just like her when I was in college. Dr. E is what we called her. Dr. E was an expert at proofreading and would proof and edit everything that came across her desk, including letters from the college president--all marked up with her red pen. I'm sorry your neuro has left you. Where in Arizona??? Where did your neuro go? I'm wondering if your old neuro is close enough for me! If you send me the neuros name I can check. I hope the new one is excellent.hugs to you, Dan.

I looked him up on bomex (az medical examiners board) and he is at 500 W. Rd. in Phoenix. He is in the medical offices next to Barrows Neurological Institute at St. ph's Hospital. I wish he wasn't so far from me but that's a good three hour trip one way. Darn it! SharonThis email is a natural hand made product.
