Guest guest
I'm sorry to hear about your degenerative disc disease. As if you didn't already have enough going on with the MS, huh? I don't have any experiences or knowledge to share with you but I'm sure someone here will.I didn't know you are in Canada. We have four active members from Canada. I think is in Ontario but I could be wrong. Have you seen the research on MS and Canada? I will send it to the group for you just in case you haven't yet seen it. hugs SharonThis email is a natural hand made product. Guest guest
Hi Jen and Sharon. I am still here in Ontario. Jen where in Ontario are you. I am in Mississauga and my MS neurologist is in Milton. As for yoga, contact a local chapter of the MS Society. In Mississauga our chapter has 8 week yoga session designed for people with MS. I have done yoga a few times with the MS group but also in a fitness class. In both places you do only what you can for as long as you can. If you cannot do the right moves you can use belts, pillows and blankets to help. It is really gentle exercise and safe. It is a really good work out. Acton has an instructor that does yoga in the park for the month of August for a small donation to a local pet rescue center for $2.00 a session. Jen if you are close to Mississauga, and want to talk let me know and we can either exchange phone numbers, or meet face to face at a coffee shop and help each other out. koala5@...
