Guest guest
Oh KEERIST! Well, it seems the bloom is off the Md rose, and Rob is coming back down here..however, this time he will not really be staying here, well, not in the house, anyway. Ok, here's the story... During every one of our moves I have lost stuff, mainly because he leaves it behind. Usually about 25% of whatever I own, though some things have made it all the way through...(I won't even try to list it all, lets just say things he left behind include my handmade wedding dress, my drum collection including my 54" mother drum, several lladros (my entire "girls" collection)...the list goes on, but I am trying to not get mad when I think of them, they're gone, but lets say I kinda know what Cassie feels like right now, having lost so much, it sucks, but it is what it is)...anyway, on one of the moves he left behind a whole camper, with everything still in it. He has now recovered said camper (and my stuff!!) and will be bringing THAT down (and my stuff! He said it was like a little time capsule lol) and parking it either here or (preferably) at his moms. So he will be "around" but staying IN the camper, not in my house. Apparently he has been planning on leaving the latest victim for awhile, that is why he has been getting the camper fixed up and liveable, of course SHE undoubtedly knows nothing about it...poor thing...I guess she's all used up so he's moving on. Or back. Or whatever. I don't doubt that he will find another and the story will repeat itself, it's like living in the "groundhog day" movie, I swear... Which means that 1 - I will have transportation again and 2 - he might finally have to fulfill his promise to take Robbin to the "Y" to socialize and exercise. With Robbin taking his cell phone WITH him every time. I don't trust Rob any farther then I can throw him. However, he IS Robbin's father and as such will be in my life one way or another, so I will play nice, not romantic, just nice. Meanwhile, I have been tentatively "talking" with a nice man, who knows what might happen there? *sigh* ~*~Hugs~*~ ~*~Akiba~*~ -- what ya doing to stay busy? (Sharon) Just wondering what everyone is doing this weekend, last week, or???Last week I made and canned some red jalapenos from our garden as well as some preserves. Today we ate a huge Moon and Stars watermelon from our garden. Now I'm making watermelon preserves from the rinds. I have already peeled it and then sliced the rind. Now it has to set overnight with the sugar on it then I will cook it tomorrow. Then I will can it. Busy work is a good thing:)hugs SharonThis email is a natural hand made product. Guest guest
Yeah, one of those things is a very heavy long natural turquoise necklace that I turned down $200 for! I have missed that necklace, I'll tell you! I wore it the one time I marched on Washington, it was part of the Walk for Justice (for Leonard Peltier). Ah, memories... ~*~Hugs~*~ ~*~Akiba~*~ -- what ya doing to stay busy? Such valuable stuff!I think it's admirable that you are just 'letting go' about that--it's hard to do, but it is for the best.Glad he's going to turn up with the camper.Just stay sane, and safe! I know you will take care of yourselfand Robbin.love to you my friend, KateTo: MSersLife Sent: Sat, October 16, 2010 7:20:31 PMSubject: Oh MAAAAN (was:Re: what ya doing to stay busy? Guest guest
Yes, not to mention the storage units I had to let go, because he wouldn't go get my stuff from them and close them out, some Albert Namatjira watercolors, for example...*sigh*. What I do in these circumstances is think about all of the people who have lost literally EVERYTHING due to floods or fires...I at least still do have some of my stuff, and will be getting some back...that's a first! I guess it IS true, what goes around, comes around...or maybe this one...if you love it, let it go, if it comes back then it is truly yours... ~*~Hugs~*~ ~*~Akiba~*~ -- what ya doing to stay busy?
