Yes, it's wishful thinking *lol* but there's nothing wrong with that.

My favourite season is fall, I love it so much...I also get a few vacations away from hubby (he is away moose hunting this week and goes away for a week of deer hunting as well. He isn't too far from home, and it's our family hunting camp and he is reachable). He left Saturday morning and comes back on Friday. I love him to pieces, but I also enjoy having the house to myself (well, to some extent because my 2 teen boys are home) but I don't have to cook much. It's a nice break.....

I actually felt REALLY good today and got lots of housework done, made tacos for supper and even went outside to do some weeding - which I have been putting off for over a month now, and I am so happy I felt like doing it today and it looks a lot better. I love working outside in the fall, but now I don't have the energy to do it. My calves and my back protested greatly afterwards, of course.....

So far the cooler weather hasn't affected me negatively. I am wearing different (warmer) clothes and slippers in the mornings. I am actually feeling better with the cooler weather. But I suppose that won't be the case when it gets cold. When it's cold I usually get stiff and have trouble walking. Who knows? Maybe it won't happen this winter. (wishful thinking perhaps:) warm hugs:)

Whereabouts do you live????

We have had a few mornings here in southern Ontario Canada of frost, but only a few. Otherwise we have been enjoying a warmer than usual fall and this is just fine by me!!

The windshields were frosted this morning. It looks like my dream of a nice, long, WARM fall has been dashed!

JenI miss the moose! We had lots of moose at our cabin in Alaska. I enjoyed watching them come by our cabin and drink from our creek. Enjoy your "vacation"! I live in the mountains in northwestern Arizona. We are about 3 hours away from Phoenix. It's a small community and I live very rural about 30 minutes from town.We are having a warm-up right now. I was actually able to keep the window open last night again. It was beautiful! It had been too cold to have the window open for about 2 weeks. How far are you from the New York border? We are very rural too, and live in a very small town. I would not have it any other way. We will always stay in this same area.

We are a few hours from the NY border. Actually, to put it the easiest, we live directly in between Ottawa and Toronto ( approx 2 hours to both cities)....

Yes, it's great when I have GOOD days...seems there aren't as many good days as there are bad

I wish we had moose around here, but we don't. Wait, I shouldn't say that...the ODD time, there will be a moose siting around here, otherwise you need to go north about an hour to see them. One of my very best friends lives in Alaska and I have never been, but one day I would loveeee to visit there, it is sooo beautiful from the photos I see......

I had a good day today too, but it seems tonight like I can barely walk...my legs are sooo stiff and sore and it wasn't like I did too much today, because I didn't...........sigh
