Guest guest
I don't know about raising these stupid turkeys! They are on the roof as I write. They apparently flew out the top of their enclosure, got on the barn roof which torments the wild cats and the dogs. They are Narraganset heritage turkeys and are said to be the smarted of all the turkeys. I hope they come down before the owls come out or we may not have to worry about them anymore;) My son and daughter-in-law should be home soon and, hopefully, can get them down.never a dull moment.... Guest guest
I've heard that turkeys are dumber than a door-knob. lol... someone mention clipping their feathers [wings], and if you can catch them and know how to do it, that will take care of the problem. My SIL use to clip her birds wings [parrots] so they couldn't fly out of their cages when opened. She knew how to do it so it didn't hurt them, and which ones to trim. Good luck with them. :-) Hugs and Love, Jackie May the peace of God be with you...the love of Jesus enfold you...and the Spirit of Christ fill you.
