Guest guest
JenYou probably did do too much yesterday! Sometimes when I do too much I really pay for it the next day. Sometimes I pay for several days:) I hope your legs feel better by morning.Alaska is beautiful beyond belief. What part of Alaska does your friend live in? We lived on the Kenai Peninsula. We lived in a big old drafty cabin two miles from the nearest road, over the bog. I couldn't get in there until freeze-up because I couldn't hike it. When freeze-up hit I had to drive in on a 4 wheeler. It was months before I was able to get out and that didn't happen until we got an ARGO (a tracked vehicle). We had no electricity, no phone, no running water, no indoor plumbing. It was an adventure and I loved it but I missed Arizona too much so we moved back. If you get a chance to go--do it!hugs SharonThis email is a natural hand made product. Wait, I shouldn't say that...the ODD time, there will be a moose siting around here, otherwise you need to go north about an hour to see them. One of my very best friends lives in Alaska and I have never been, but one day I would loveeee to visit there, it is sooo beautiful from the photos I see...... I had a good day today too, but it seems tonight like I can barely walk...my legs are sooo stiff and sore and it wasn't like I did too much today, because I didn't...........sigh Jen Re: frost here this morning JenI miss the moose! We had lots of moose at our cabin in Alaska. I enjoyed watching them come by our cabin and drink from our creek. Enjoy your "vacation"! How wonderful you were able to get so much done today. Isn't it amazing when those days happen? hugs SharonThis email is a natural hand made product. Guest guest
This happens to my legs too. It doesn't take too much activity anymore for them to stiffen up. But if I sit too long they stiffen up also. Its a balancing act all day long to what I can do and what I can't. But its taken years to learn this. I no longer can do things without thinking about it, everything has to be planned and slowed down. Organization is the key to minimizing energy overload. :-) As far as Alaska,......I have always wanted to go there too. When the Gaithers have their cruises up there I want to go sooooo bad. Just don't know how many handicapped rooms they have, and if I can stand to be around all the stimuli. :-( Sharon I still have the pictures of your not so little cabin. I loved where you were at, but even a healthy person would have challenges living there. My cousins lived in Anchorage, and one lived waaaaaaay out in the wild somewhere around there. Hugs and Love, Jackie May the peace of God be with you...the love of Jesus enfold you...and the Spirit of Christ fill you. Subject: Jen, doing too much. Guest guest
JackieIs the Gaithers cruise on a cruise ship? I suppose so. They do have handicapped rooms and facilities. My nephew, Greg, goes on cruises pretty often. He is disabled with muscular dystrophy. He is in a power chair and says he has the very best time on the cruises. If you can do it you should!love SharonThis email is a natural hand made product. Guest guest
JackieMaybe you could send that photo to me? Can you believe I can't find a photo of the cabin anywhere? I have some in a photo album but my scanner won't work anymore. The scanner is like me--tired and worn out:)hugs SharonThis email is a natural hand made product.
