Most attorneys only offer 1/2 consultations for free. Well, I retained him. I liked him a lot, and he seems quite knowledgeable and very kind. He didn't ask for any retainer fee, which I really appreciated. His hourly rate is $250, which is cheaper than most around here, which is $300.I told him I am still quite scared and nervous, and don't know if/when I'm going to go through with this. Have no idea how Lloyd is going to react. I think he's gonna be really pissed and blow up, and tell the kids all about it, even though my therapist told me that I need to tell him, not to even discuss or broadcast it to the kids.So...I guess the appointment went well...it's just that I have to take the plunge, and I'm terrified of that. Don't know how, when or where to tell him.
