You should go ahead and add one more little kitty, Jen! This household has 8 indoor cats with one of those being mine. She is a black and white cat named Tux. She and her kitten were left behind when the people next door moved out. She brought her kitten over here and hung around outside until my granddaughter noticed her and brought them both inside. Her kitten is now grown and the grandkids call him Juniper . At first Tux was my granddaughter's cat but then after my 14 year old kitty Susie died Tux decided to become my cat. We also have about a dozen barn cats. SharonThis email is a natural hand made product. We have 2 cats (and 1 dog, Missy). The cats are Tiger (male) and , female of course. Tiger is 16! My daughter, Kara, who is now 22, got tiger for her 5th birthday. It's great having pets...but I am worried Tiger won't be around a whole lot longer...but who knows, I've heard of 20+ year old cats. Enjoy your kitties, Sharon, and all our cat lovers!love, KateTo: MSersLife Sent: Wed, October 20,

I'm looking for 2 sister cats. I've already got their names picked out, Lizzie and Rosie. [After my g-daughters middle names] :-) I saw two black and white ones and one looked like me, as it had a black dot in the same place as my "beauty mark" on my face on its face. I thought how canny. Their owner passed away and her daughter was looking for a home that would take both of them. I would have, but I needed all the supplies, and I couldn't prepare fast enough before they were gone. So another Lizzie and Rosie are out there somewhere. I like the Main Coons, and the Ragdolls, but purebreds are spendy. I saw on the news today a main-coon the biggest yet at 4 ft long!!! It was huge, but not unusual for the breed.

I really need some furbabies, so I hope to get set up here soon. I have to wait for hubby to get things we need, and he's been dragging his feet. But he doesn't feel good, so I don't blame him. I'll let you all know when I finally get them.

Akiba I love your names for yours, and Sharon 8 cats inside? and 12 outside? WOW! But, honestly I'd have more than 2 if Steve would allow it. He has to clean up the messes, so I'm lucky he agreed to 2. :-)

Juniper how fitting for your area! lol..

p/s my 82 yr old aunt has 6 ferals she rescued. Trapped them, took them to the Feral colition, had them fixed and brought them back home. Quite a feat for someone her age. She likes the company, and 2 she has domesticated, but she says a lot of work. :-)

Hugs and Love, Jackie

I saw the same thing today on the news about that huge kitty cat! Can you believe 4 feet long! It was sure a pretty cat, wasn't it? Yes, EIGHT indoor cats. We didn't plan on adding any more but when the two cats came needing a home we had to invite them in:) lolGood luck, Jackie, getting your perfect pair of kitties!hugs SharonThis email is a natural hand made product. Kate, I learned something new about you. I didn't know you had such an old kitty. How is the health of your 16 year old cat? My 14 year old cat Susie who died last year ---well she wasn't in good health. When we were in Alaska she injured her belly and the injury never, ever healed. The vet specialist I took her to after we came home from Alaska said she thought the problem was Susie's injury was "infected" by the toxins from a shrew. We had lots of shrews at our cabin and the vet said they carry a toxin. I don't know what the cause was for sure but poor little Susie lived on antibiotics the rest of her life. I hope Tiger is in good health and has no run-ins with shrews. love to you and to all your critters! SharonThis email is a natural hand made product. Tiger is old, but seems to be in good health. I do have toget him to the vet, as it has been some time since he'sbeen there. He is mainly an indoor cat, but will sometimesventure out. When we lived on 4 acres, he was out all thetime getting chipmunks. One time, he brought one in thehouse, and it freaked me out so bad; it was running allaround. Finally it found a spot on a built in bookcase wehad. Kara, being an animal lover, and brave, tried to getthe little rodent, and it bit her! I took her even to the ERto have it looked at, and the ER doc claimed chipmunksdon't carry rabies! I thought all mammals had the potentialof carrying them. I still don't know the answer on that, maybesomeone here does. Anyway, it was her right hand, so hewrote a note to her

teacher, excusing her from doing herhomework that night. Never a dull moment with pets, huh?We also have 1 remaining guinea pig; we had had 3, but 2passed away. No one but my husband and myself bother withthe poor thing. Surprisingly, the cats leave the thing alone.love to all our animal lovers,Kate

Oh my goodness that's a funny story about Tiger and the chipmunk! Have you ever seen National Lampoon's Christmas Vacation? You story reminds me of their Christmas tree with the squirrel/chipmunk in it. I love that movie:)True, never a dull moment with pets! SharonThis email is a natural hand made product.
