cooler weather agrees with me!

The lovely cooler weather sure agrees with me! I have been feeling better and I'm able to do a little more. My balance is still the pits though... I wonder if that will ever get better again? I made and canned preserves several days ago. Today the granddaughters and I are going to go out and pick the rest of the green tomatoes in the garden because it's supposed to freeze tonight. Some I will use to make fried green tomatoes. Others will be allowed to ripen. And the rest I will make into green tomato relish or green tomato pickles over the next few days. of luck wished for the tomato relish & pickles.. my mother

made some type of relish from green tomatoes one year.. she made

& canned regular pickle relish too.. betcha can't guess

which one was gone from the canned good shelf in the basement

first! LOL.. I think she was just "trying" a recipe she found

in an Amish cookbook..

I'm am so tickled to hear that the cooler weather is agreeing

with you.. I wish I could say the same here.. If I could just

find a place that remained a warn/cool 72 degrees all year

long.. I'd move in a flash!... but then I'm betting that

everybody else has had the same idea, and are already living

there.. so I probably couldn't afford to live there anyway..

And fried green tomatoes.. yum yum.. haven't had any of those in

more than several years..

Balance? well with the cooler weather.. it might help restore

some of it.. I keep hoping that I'm freezing for a reason! And

just why is it that 72 degrees in summer is nice... but when the

temperature outside drops, 72 degrees inside makes me want to

bundle up with quilts.. oh who am I trying to kid.. 72 degrees

in here in the summer and I'm sitting round with blankets

bundled around my legs!
