For some reason, my mail won’t let me “write” on my pictures, so from the

top down we have –

Junior G-Man (found in a pile of car parts, bottle-raised) and his

“mama-dog” Pixie (saved from an abusive home)

and then Toes (born in our kitchen floor)

then Tippy (black dog) gotten from a box in front of Walmart and getting

to be old and cranky, with Bearbear

(adopted about 2 seconds before he was sent to the pound)

and then Tubby (on his last life after too many adventures, a recovering

meth addict) and his best buddy Buster Brown,

rescued first from the County Yard, and then AGAIN from the engine of our

car about 5 minutes before we would have been

on the interstate…

Everybody else was too busy running amokamokamok through the house to get

their picture taken. :-D

There are 11 cats and 3 dogs in all - the dogs and one cat sleep with us,

everybody else gallops through the house all night like a herd of buffalo...

You shoulda heard the Ssssnnnnnnnooooooooorrrrrrrrrrres.... :-D

Been busy the last few days finishing up another bunch of patterns for

That Editor Woman - they'll be on sale " in person " at a big SCA

Christmas-time event, and a national EGA seminar in the spring, and in

between my pattern=making and my partner's seminar-class-writing the Etsy

store is also creeping closer...

Himself is still job hunting - this is the longest he's been unemployed

since he started working at 12!!!! and the weather is changing so it’s time

to change over the house and the yard and the wardrobe, and start gathering

canned goods for local food drives and school supplies for our sister parish

in Romania, and and and....

In going through closets, we discovered that Himself is the proud owner of

4!!!! Very nice suits, which have all gone off to the cleaners' now so he

can " dress for the job he wants " - now I have nothing in MY wardrobe that

matches him, so if he gets a fancy job I gotta do some clothes shopping!

And he's working a night shift at the FD, so the dogs are all in here

staring at me wanting to go night-night.

They are

the cutest ... we've only got two horses living in the

house.. and one big bunch of feathers.. Buster shies away from

the feathers.. but Zucco wants to play with them.. (he's not the

brightest bulb in the pack.. but in his defense.. he is

"developmentally delayed" as the vet termed it.... because of

being starved during his "growing" years... he's been here for 4

years plus now and his back legs still visibly quiver when he's

standing)

We've considered building a wall-to-wall bed.. so that everyone

has stretching room while they sleep (I really hate waking up

having been turned into a postage stamp during the night).. and

then I'll have to figure out how to appropriate blankets and

such.. somehow I'm fully covered from head to toe when I go to

sleep.. but will invariably wake up sometime during the night

(before being postasized) and find ALL of the blankets,

comforters and/or quilts somehow got sucked under a sleeping

critter! LOL

Love them to pieces though!

I have a

snuggie.. they seem to get that as well.. I get the upper part

that's firmly attached to my arms.. they suck the lower part

under them too.. go figure!!

And he certainly drives fast doesn't he?
