first fire of the season--chilly!

We had to light a fire in the fireplace this evening. It has turned quite chilly. I got cold when I went to the garden to pick the green tomatoes and haven't been able to warm up since. Rob just called, he is almost to Palatka, less then an hour away. So I guess he's coming "home" tonight. Oh. yay. He doesn't have the camper, that is still there (in Md), he has to fix the van so he can pull the camper, the caddy won't work for that. So I guess he'll be here a few days and have to stay with me (oh. yay.) then he will go back up and get the camper and I guess that will be when he gives her the good news that he is leaving. Good news for HER, anyway, though she will probably not see it that way at first.

Forgot to say, the van is HERE, the camper is THERE. He'll fix the van here, drive it there, hook up to the camper and wavy buh-bye to the latest victim, and come back HERE, presumably to help me with my sister's estate. Then he will assuredly find another victim and vamoosky again...*sigh*

When I get

cold like that, Sharon, I usually jump-start the thermostat with

a warm bath... well it feels warm to me anyway.. claims it

would scald someone.. but then he only adds enough hot water to

the full force cold to knock out the ice crystals.. BRRRRRR....

But come to think of it though.. it's always been that way..

even before the MonSter... if I got cold I just couldn't get

warm without soaking something in hot water.... usually me whole

body..

And I'm still fighting the urge to snuggle under the blankets

and nap away.. LOL
