Aborted Fetuses are now an industrial commodity!Four years ago I stepped away from commercial biotechnology, and founded this prolife non-profit educational and biomedical research organization as well as a prolife biotechnology company called AVM Biotechnology. I graduated from Stanford University with Honors and Distinction and was subsequently awarded my Ph.D. from Stanford University in Molecular and Cellular Physiology. I had spent my entire career working in the commercial biotechnology industry for some of the giants, including Genentech, Immunex and Amgen. My patented discoveries have led to ongoing clinical trials in three areas; osteoarthritis, cartilage repair and surgical bleeding.Why did I leave a lucrative career in commercial biotechnology? I left because the use of aborted fetal material had become so commonplace that it was not

possible to continue in my field and not use the material. Sound Choice and AVM Biotechnology are the only biomedical research organizations that pledge that we will not use morally illicit materials at any step in our work.Cell lines taken from electively aborted fetuses are used to manufacture vaccines including MMR II (mumps, measles, rubella), Varivax (chickenpox), Zostavax (shingles), Vaqta and Havrix (Hepatitis A), TwinRix (hepatitis A & , Pentacel (poliovax) , and Imovax (rabies). Vaccines are basically vials containing viruses, which are long strands of nucleic acids.

Viruses are too large to make in test tubes, and so we mimic the natural way that viruses proliferate: we infect cells with the viruses, the viruses hijack the cell’s machinery in order to make thousands of copies of themselves, and then we attempt to purify the virus and vial it for a vaccine. Unfortunately, contaminants from the cells used to produce the virus are present in every vial of vaccine. We can use animal or plant cells to manufacture the virus, however, some pharmaceutical companies have chosen to use aborted fetal cell lines. Therefore, when we inoculate our children with these vaccines, we are also injecting them with residual aborted fetal DNA and cellular debris. These contaminants put our children at risk for autoimmune disease and gene insertion and mutations. Safety studies have never been done to demonstrate that manufacturing vaccines using aborted

fetal cells is safe for our children.Sound Choice is the only organization doing these studies. We have been told that our research is TOO CONTROVERSIAL for publication when we submitted a manuscript, and we have been rejected for federal funding for our work. The reviewers of our grant application stated that our work was NOT INNOVATIVE and NOT SIGNIFICANT enough for funding. We have also mistakenly been included on an email from a public institution funded with tax payer dollars. The email was not meant for our eyes but the sender accidentally hit ‘REPLY ALL’, and the email denounced Sound Choice as a grant recipient because we are prolife.

Autism is now a world wide epidemic, and rates of autism in Africa, Asia and Southeast Asia are as high as in the US and EU. Autism struck third world countries in children who were born in 2000 or later, right after humanitarian vaccination campaigns in those countries. In our well-meaning attempts to eliminate measles and polio, we may have introduced a life-long debilitating disease to these countries.People claim that autism is caused by all sorts of things; fire-proof retardants, junk food, playing too many computer games, watching too much TV, contaminants in our water, changes in diagnosis criteria, financial incentives for public schools, and others. Poor, rural children in third world countries do not have fire retardant clothes or furniture, they do not play computer games, they do not drink supplemented water, they do not eat

junk food, they have no financial incentives to be diagnosed with autism, and they do not use the same diagnostic criteria as the US. The commonality among first world and third world children is that since 2001 the majority of children across the globe are vaccinated.The refusal of pharmaceutical companies and our federal government to do the studies that assure us that manufacturing vaccines in aborted fetal cells is safe reminds me of the story of the Emperor who was not wearing any clothes. The experts in the vaccine field are not able to see that the Emperor is naked and that the contaminants we are injecting into our children are dangerous. Sound Choice, a newcomer to the vaccine field, saw clearly the temporal and biological connection between injecting children with aborted fetal DNA fragments and the dangers that could lead to autism. We absolutely need your support or our research cannot go on. We have funds to continue our work only

through April of 2012. We spend only about $25,000 each month for our labs and office, for our research reagents, and for 4 employees, all working at sacrificial salaries. Comparable labs at universities would be spending double or triple that amount. Yet, raising $25,000 monthly is a difficult goal to reach. Please support us however you can so that our work can continue.Despite the refusal to publish our work or to fund our research, we are seeing impacts from our efforts just by our presence! This work must continue so that we can apply pressure to the pharmaceutical companies to stop using aborted fetal cells and to use plant or animal cells for vaccine manufacture. Unless we continue to apply pressure to stop these practices, the use of aborted fetal material will expand.The practice has entered the cosmetic industry. NeoCutis markets anti-ageing serums that contain aborted fetal material, and we now suspect that a major international

cosmetic firm will also be using aborted fetuses to make their anti-ageing cosmetics. That is absolutely disgusting, and consumers will have no way to know if their cosmetics are from aborted fetuses. We need your support to stop these practices!Embryonic Stem Cell Clinical Trial Suddenly Cancelled!In January of 2008, two days after President Obama was inaugurated, the FDA announced approval of the first human clinical trial using embryonic stem cells. GERON CORPORATION, the California company developing the therapy, practically promised that paralyzed patients would be dancing again within a

year.Despite the hype in Geron’s press releases announcing FDA approval of the first embryonic stem cell clinical trial, the clinical trial was a Phase I trial, designed only to determine the safety of using embryonic stem cells. Phase I clinical trials are not designed to show effectiveness, and therefore, the hype over the trial was a bit overdone. Geron chose to test their ES cells in recently paralyzed patients, patients who spontaneously improve 50% of the time anyway. Therefore, one would expect some of these patients to improve whether the ES cells had any benefit or not. After injecting ES cells in only 5 of the 8 planned patients, Geron suddenly cancelled the trial and axed its entire embryonic stem cell research program. They claimed publicly that they did this for economic reasons.The claims that the trial and program were stopped for economic reasons is an odd claim since the trial was funded by the CA Institute for Regenerative

Medicine, and millions of tax payer dollars had already been given to Geron. Furthermore, Phase I safety trials only cost about $1 million dollars. It is possible that Geron realized that their plans to charge up to $500,000 for the embryonic stem cell therapy would not fly. That would be one economic reason I could believe. Who is going to pay $500,000 for tumor forming ES cell therapy when they could pay about $25,000 or less for safe and effective adult stem cell therapies?The more likely reason that Geron suddenly cancelled the trial and their entire research program is that some negative result was becoming evident in the patients they had injected with ES cells. Since almost 50% of newly paralyzed patients spontaneously recover, one would have expected to hear something

about improvements in the people Geron treated. Yet, not a word of hype has come out. That must lead us all to wonder whether they were seeing detrimental results in these patients. The tax payer, who funded these trials, deserves to know the truth about why the programs were cancelled. We deserve to know the truth because our money has funded Geron’s work, and more tax payer dollars should not be wasted on ES work, especially if the therapy does not work and is not safe. Despite the cancellation, Geron must continue to watch these patients for 15 years to monitor tumor formation. My heart goes out to the patients who took part in the trial. By choosing ES cells they missed any opportunities to be treated with adult stem cells. Adult stem cells are treating chronically paralyzed patients, and some of these patients

are walking again!One would think the cancellation of Geron’s embryonic stem cell clinical trial and research programs would be big news, especially since the secular news made such a big deal out of every patient who was treated. Geron was also responsible for bringing embryonic stem cells to the US, having paid for the derivation of the first human embryonic stem cells at the University of Wisconsin. Whether one is in favor of destroying human embryos or against it, the sudden and unexpected cancellation by Geron should be big news, and yet not much information has reached the general public. Are they hiding something from the tax payers who have funded these trials? Without organizations like Sound Choice the public would not know the truth about stem cells.They would not know about the dangers of using embryonic stem cells,they would not kow about the advances using adult stem cells

to treat so many diseases, and they would not know about the economic and safety advantages of adult stem cells.As one of the plaintiffs in the federal lawsuit, Sherley vs. Sebelius, that aims to uphold the Dickey-Wicker amendment banning federal NIH dollars from being used for research that destroys or harms human embryos, I am surprised by the lack of media attention. When we suffer set-backs in the lawsuit my phone rings off the hook for comments, yet not a single secular news reporter has called for a comment regarding Geron’s cancellation of the embryonic stem cell trials.The cancellation is great news for patients everywhere. Perhaps now federal dollars will be used to advance adult stem cell therapies that
