You have to take care of yourself first, and then your kids, husband and animals

(although I place my animals above the husband:)   This is not your concern or

problem, especially if they have the financial ability of bringing in help.

Your step father is enabling her and until he stops nothing will change.

I'd just not want to be around when he tries to have her declared incompentant,

that won't be pretty.

Thanks . Funny thing is, my T had just said the week before that it won't

be long before I'd have to place her in assisted living as my step dad either

will have died or won't be able to care for her. It bowled me over because, as

you said, it won't be pretty!
