Inquiry for a bit of EMS history

Since I'm writing to the list, it must mean I need something again.

I am writing a paper for american government on how public opinion has changed

health policy, and I thought that the perfect example of this would be the

creation of the modern idea of emergency medicine. I am needing reliable

sources (and just sources in general) to help get me started. Anyone out there

know of anything??
