No, not bacon grease. Lard is a fat from beef and pork and is white. It is sold in plastic tubs or paper cartons here. I don't know about there in NY. The pinto beans are brown and a little speckled. I have heard pintos are not common everywhere but it is a staple here in the southwest.hugs SharonThis email is a natural hand made product.
