Topics, posts and responses from 2009?

Is it just my computer, or are topics, posts and responses from 2009 appearing

in the Group posts of other members here, as though they are current posts?

If this is happening Group-wide, it is probably a glitch with Yahoo Groups;

here's hoping it will be fixed soon.

Maybe I messed something up, but my computer is doing this too. Ironically, I

have to say I'm really glad I saw that old post about the 30th B-Day, as we were

just struggling with this decision last night. Good to know you're not alone. It

must be fate :)

I don't think this is a glitch, but rather a strange function of Yahoo groups.

Anytime we use a subject name that has been previously used, it simply attaches

the new post onto the ancient one.

You don't see the old posts if you only access the messages from the " messages "

link or " newer " link-- only when you access the replies below each individual

post. I've seen this happen in all my yahoo groups <shrug>.

I doubt you did anything wrong, its most likely to be some software glitch with

Yahoo Groups. And there's no harm done. It was just a little confusing. I

hope it does not mean that the owners of Yahoo are planning another

" improvement " of Groups, like they did before. Some Groups I belong to were the

" test sites " , and were " improved " to be more like FaceBook, and it was pretty

awful. Leave " Groups " alone, Yahoo! If it ain't broke, don't fix it!

Aha! That's probably it. But I belong to a Yahoo Group for the adult children

of Narcissistic parents, and it hasn't happened there, that I'm aware of. Oh

well.

No big deal.

That's my fault. Yahoo! puts all messages with the same subject line together in

the same thread--even if they're not related. I had the list sorted by topic and

did not catch the age of the first message. Sorry for the confusion!

No problemo, no harm done; I guess I'm just way to easy to confuse these days.
