I think you've made the right decision here.. and there is the

Family Medical Leave Act.. that requires them to hold your

position open for 3 months or 90 days or whatever it happens to

work out to for that period..

If you have short term disability.. and get the doctor to sign

off on the paperwork before you take the leave.. you shouldn't

have too difficult a time receiving your benefits.. might take

them a month or two to process and cut the check (they always

but always seem to drag their feet on paying, unless you get

someone handling it that is sympathetic to the situation)

I'm sorry that you have to take the time off.. but you're right,

you can't continue to go on as you are.. It's not good for you

in the least..

I sure hope you start to feel better real soon.. cause I know

how sucky it is to feel like you're feeling..

Well, I think I have made the

decision to take a Leave of Absence from work...Even if it is

just for a month or so in hopes that my medication will work

and will be helping me.......

I hate doing it....it is right

around Christmas time, i am worrying about ruining Xmas for

everyone, not having any money etc...But I also know, the way

I AM right now and how horrible I am feeling, there is NO way

I can work............

I see the doctor on Monday and

will tell him all of this and get a note for work, and I HOPE

maybe I can get some kind of sick benefits while I am off, but

I know how much trouble so many people have doing

so...............

I hope I am making the right

decision here. I can't just keep calling in sick for my shifts

either. Or going in for a day, going home, then can't function

again and have to call in sick..........Can't keep doing this

either..................
