It is! Artichokes is on one of my "usual" pizzas too, but the combination with bacon was new. On that other pizza it's olives and capers that provide the saltiness, and that's good too, I think artichokes need some kind of salt to go with it.love/Reb> >> > I made a big pot of beef stew. My friend makes artichokes really, really well. She takes them and cuts the points off, then opens up the leaves and puts in a mixture of garlic, savory, and I forget the other spice, and seasoned breadcrumbs and parmesean cheese then a bit of olive oil on top, and then steams them for about 2 or so hours. Yum! They come out awesome.I just love artichokes.love, KateTo:
