Guest guest
Our older nt son had mild chicken pox at year and got severe case again at 8 our other son got a severe case at 9 months and I know this is what threw him into autism we have done valtrex since then with him but had to stop he could not tolerate it long term which what the nids group say is what is needed .you can have chicken pox twice . Try the valtrex if it has helped you there is every reason to hope it might help your son tooLet your email find you with BlackBerry® from VodafoneFrom: evanr1977@...Sender: mb12valtrex Date: Thu, 26 Jan 2012 07:06:29 -0500 (EST)To: <mb12valtrex >ReplyTo: mb12valtrex Subject: Hello, new to group and I am on Valtrex Hello, my son is 20 years old. I can't help but wonder if I passed on my herpes simplex one virus to him while pregnant. I had one cold sore as a teen, and did not break out again until I was 40.This time it was on the tip of my nose , and after several outbreaks, I got it in my right eye. I had dendrites on my cornea. The nerve from the tip of the nose to the cornea was broken out in herpes. I had to take drops every hour for the first couple of days and scaled back to once a day. ANYWAY... I was put on valtrex for life as I never know when I would break out again. Since using Valtrex I have had no reoccurance. Now to my son. At age 5 months he was exposed to chicken pox at a birthday party. He broke out in what I call a mystery rash. Some sort of blotchy rash that never had postules come out.. like the chicken pox. He had no fever.. no loss of appetite .. nothing. Just this rash. As he grew... he got horrible bowel movements and we went GF/CF. He just wanted to eat FF's. And he would break out on and off with this rash. AGAIN... no forming of postules, nothing..no fever , no loss of appeite. This went on until he was about 4 and then it stopped. He did break out with chicken pox at age 12. It was the real deal. I guess what I want to know.. is there any significance to this? I often want to give him my valtrex just to see if it would improve his language skills but of course, I dont. Any input would be appreciatedThanks,Lia

Guest guest
Hi Lia, Your son sounds like a perfect candidate for antivirals!Do you have a dan or integrative doctor? Most would easily prescribe this for him.It would be best if you were able to give him his own prescription because you would need to dose it correctly for him and starting and stopping is not good as it can causethe virus to build immunity to the valtrex and cause it to stop working. You would want to do some reading up as well so you are prepared for the subsequent "die off" symptoms and so you are prepared to deal with the yeast it will most likely kick-up. With that said, there is a significant chance you would see good gains by trying an antiviral. hth,-Tammy To: mb12valtrex Sent: Thursday, January 26, 2012 7:06 AM Subject: Hello, new to group and I am on Valtrex Hello, my son is 20 years old.
