Guest guest
Hi all, First off, I am so glad to find this community. My mother has BPD. She fits all of the typical characteristics given in the books save the suicidality (thank God) and she rates as a highly-functioning BPD. It is so hard to break the patterns that I have been raised with while having her in my life and not being able to identify what was wrong, and according to her, it's all my fault and I am the one with the problem (Big surprise, I know). This is new ground to me and I am working with the book at present " Stop Walking on Eggshells. " Any pointers for me, as I feel such a novice at this, from those of you who have had the knowledge of your parent's disorder longer than myself? Thanks!!!
