" Whitey " , who died on March 2, 2008. was a pioneer in Texas EMS and was inducted in the Texas EMS Hall of Fame in 1991. The link to his obituary is below; a full story is planned for the May/June issue of Texas EMS Magazine. Staff from the DSHS EMS Compliance office in Houston attended the funeral on Thursday.
