Guest guest
Dear Phyllis, I know, it's simply incredible to me that manufacturers feel the need to sweeten everything. The problem I have with it is that it keeps the entire population addicted to sweet foods; we reach the point of not finding food tasty if it doesn't have sugar or a sweetner in it. I was quite addicted to sugar years ago until I read a very interesting book on the subject and started reading labels. What is so alarming to me is the quantity of breakfast cereals people eat. Most of them are loaded with sugar and they're processed so break down very easily into sugar just by their very nature--they're processed. guides88 phyllisk@...> wrote: I was astonished to see that this is an ingredient in the fat-free salad croutons I was about to put on my salad! > > I forgot to mention that the ingestion of high fructose corn syrup is a trigger for me of AFIB so I read the labels of all products very carefully. > > > > > >
