2 Old with flu, strep, bronchitis?

Hi guys,My 2yr old nt daughter with gut problems has been pretty sick with a fever (101) and worsening cough since sunday...i've been giving her compounded ibuprophin....I am planning to take her into the dr today (scary). Any advice? Any time when we have to do antibs? Her gut was terrible for months after the macrodantin she was put on for a suspected uti (she has/had kidney reflux) so I am scared to death of antibs....she doesn't tolerate herbals or coconut supplements...any advice would be much appreciated!-- Sent from my Palm Pre

well i can only only only say what i would do with my kid...and i would stay by his side with cool washclothes lots of diluted juice freshly made lemonade with maple syrup....homemade veggie soups...watching for any signs of distress like difficult labored breathing monitor his heart rate and watch for signs of mental deteriation....if he was able to continue being stable i would not go to docter for antibiotics......the only thing a docter can do for you is give Iv fluids to keep your kid from getting dehydrated give elecrolytes and pain relief and antibiotics....and remember the antibiotics do nothing for viral stuff...so its your call...also i would go thru my natural arsenal like olive leaf extract....put humidifier with eculypus oil and run hot shower

with door closed to have steam bath with out putting in actual shower......tons of vitamin c every two hours.....ginger tea....i got more if you interested

im sorry i forgot you said your kid doesnt tolerate herbs....in that case i would do the soups teas vitamin c and maybe some garlic oil on feet? lots steam baths to break up mucous ginger tea?
