Here is a treatment I came across for damaged hair. Basic Oil Conditioner Good for: normal and dry hair Use: one time per week Follow with shampoo Prep time: Approx. 1 min. Yields: 1 treatment, don't store Special: Excellent for dry, sun damaged, and chemically treated hair. Leaves hair soft and silky. 1/4 cup (more or less, depending on length of hair) of one of the following oils: Virgin olive oil, jojoba, sweet almond, or castor 10 drops essential oil of lavender, rosemary, or basil Combine the oils and apply to warm, damp (not wet) hair. Make sure hair is thoroughly coated. Cover with a plastic bag, or shower cap, then coveragain with a hot, damp towel. The heat helps the oil to penetrate and condition your hair. Allow to remain on for 30 mins., then shampoo twice to remove all traces of oil. Hope these are helpful. Kareemah
