Guest guest
They are wonderful baked in the oven, it takes about as long as baking a potato, if the temp is low it takes a long time, and less as it gets higher. And you don't have to add anything. (A little butter after serving is very nice). You can put leftovers (use the skins for a liner) in a casserole dish with ham and green chili and cheese, maybe a little garlic powder, and heat up in the oven until the cheese is all bubbly, and that is wonderful too. Jan Jan Hodges http://www.greentwo.com Sweet Potato Question Ok, I've realized recently that i can have a sweet potato with out a huge spike. My question is how do you cook sweet potatoes. I have never made them myself unless you count the kind from the cans, which i really want to steer away from. Anybody have any recipes or can enlighten me as how to cook them? Thanks so much. !!!!! Guest guest
Judith, I totally understand. It is kind of hard to use. You have to use such a tiny amount, otherwise it tastes bitter. > , > > I have it but I don't seem to be able to figure out how to use it. Very > frustrating. So when Splenda came out I waited a while (I never use new > products on the market) and tried it. Works for me. At my age I don't > think I'm going to worry about long term problems LOL..... I need something > that works now while I can still enjoy myself! :-) > > JUDITH > > Have you tried stevia? > >
