Guest guest
I'm glad to hear that you got your horse safely away from your nada. Hopefully things will go smoothly now and she'll leave you alone. Guest guest
Me too: I'm glad to hear that this issue RE your horse is all settled, that you now have your horse safely in your care at a new place and he's in no danger of mistreatment or neglect from your mother. Its not uncommon for those with personality disorder to engage in passive-aggressive behaviors to " get even " when they feel thwarted or disrespected, including really psychotic acts. There is a whole thread at bpdfamily.com about " mysterious pet deaths " , posts by adult kids of bpd parents whose pets would mysteriously vanish or die gruesome deaths. It seems that some bpds will either treat their pet(s) like the Golden Child (spoiled, indulged and can do no wrong) or the pets are " scapegoated " , mistreated, and there is a revolving door of new pets that in their turn mysteriously vanish or sicken and die unusually young, or are neglected to death. It is sad that our parents have this serious mental illness; sometimes the only option is No Contact to prevent further abuse. -Annie > >I had the police escort my horse and I off of the property. > > > >NADA dumped my stuff on the driveway and that was that. > >She disowned me so we are NC. > > > >I'm ok with this, at least for now. > > -- > Katrina >
Guest guest
And your horse is moved and safe--this must certainly be a big relief. You are safe, too. Time to focus on your growth and be shed of nada. > > I had the police escort my horse and I off of the property. > > NADA dumped my stuff on the driveway and that was that. > She disowned me so we are NC. > > I'm ok with this, at least for now. > >
