Guest guest
I took a deep breathe and finally made appts. at the dentist! I have an appt with the hygienist for a cleaning the last Friday of July. Then on Aug 2 an appointment for a 'possible' root canal. This is a big deal for me because the last time I have my teeth cleaned I had an MS exacerbation and when I have oral surgery 5 years ago I had a Trigeminal Neuralgia flare that lasted a year. I met the dentist last week and liked him. I asked on local groups for recommendations for dentists and several people said to go to this guy. One woman drives a hundred miles to see him. I hope I'm making the right decision. SharonThis email is a natural hand made product. Guest guest
sharon, here's something to consider... what if you don't go to the dentist and you get an infection in that tooth? then, the infection will settle in the weakest part of your circulartory system. can you afford that? and i'm not talking monitary, i'm talking healthwise. there is proof that a person having good dental hygiene will prolong your life! see: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Oral_hygiene#Oral_hygiene_and_systemic_diseases and i copied and pasted part of the contents here: Oral hygiene and systemic diseasesSeveral recent clinical studies show a direct link between poor oral hygiene (oral bacteria & oral infections) and serious systemic diseases, such as: Cardiovascular Disease (Heart attack and Stroke)Bacterial PneumoniaLow Birth Weight/Extreme High Birth WeightDiabetes complicationsOsteoporosis hope you will go to the dentist to reap all the health benefits you can! We MSers can't afford not to! diva >> I took a deep breathe and finally made appts. at the dentist! I have an appt with the hygienist for a cleaning the last Friday of July. Guest guest
Thanks for the links, Diva. I had heard something about that recently so I appreciate the links. I am gonna go to the dentist. I would like to forget about it but I've committed myself to do it. Besides I have to set a good example for the grandkids, don't I? SharonThis email is a natural hand made product.
