Guest guest
OH YEA. I SWEAR SOME DAYS AIR ITSELF KNOCKS ME AROUND SHALONDA "Me + God's grace & forgiveness can overcome any & everything" Subject: bad balance or loss of coordination? To: MSersLife Date: Friday, November 12, 2010, 10:56 PM Do you participate in the NARCOMS study? In the current study they asked about "loss of coordination" and the description was what I call "bad balance". When 'whatever it is' is bad I walk a reeling type of walk and keep saying "oops" when I nearly fall into things. It can change within the same day. Anyone else? Guest guest
Yup, I’m the same way Sharon. My arms are bruised from bumping into walls. My Dr. told me my poor balance is from all of the meds that I am on. Baloney!!!! Guest guest
Most definitely the same with my balance Sharon. And as much as I love hardwood floors, I'm going to be so glad to get away from them. I don't know if my brain is saying "slippery" or what but I'm even more wobbly on them than carpetting. Which brings me back to years ago when the long shiny grocery store floors made me so dizzy and I confused it with anxiety ... hugs, Cait bad balance or loss of coordination? Guest guest
Actually, I've been accused of "little early in the day to be drinking" and actually being drunk on occasion.. Just love it when I get to answer back to someone as crass as to say the little early to be drinking spiel.. and then they look sheepish when I reply.. it would be if I were, but I'm not.. I have MS.. LOL.. It's all part of that "oh, but you don't look sick" mentality.. just cause a person doesn't "look sick" doesn't mean they aren't.. Guest guest
I was having some kind of "disconnect" in my brain when I was walking, and before I knew it I was falling and I didn't have the reflex to stop it. I just fell over, and fell hard. I never knew what caused it. Didn't feel dizzy, or tripped over anything. But.....there were a few times that just the least bit of uneveness in a surface would throw me off balance and down I would go. So I don't walk "free style" anymore at all. :-( Hugs and Love, Jackie May the peace of God be with you...the love of Jesus enfold you...and the Spirit of Christ fill you.
