Advice for 12 year old who just started having seizures

Hi all. I have a friend whose son is 12 with autism and has just started having

seizures. The local children's hospital has put him on anti seizure meds and she

is petrified of the side effects. She has tried the biomed approach years ago

but gave up.

Does anybody have any advice on some immediate natural things she can do to

reduce the likelihood of seizures occurring? Or some examples of anti seizure

meds that were helpful and safer than others?
