Hi everyone I'm and new to this and looking for a bit of advice and help. My

name is Maggie and I'm new to the group, I have a 11 years old son who on the

spectrum and the doctor and was diagnosised with mild form of autism at the age

of four (PDD-NOS )and also ADD. My DAN docoter recommended that I join this

group because my son is set to begin anti-viral therapy. he said this is a group

to learn and get better accquainted on anti-viral therapy. My son had a viral

screen done and his viral screen profile was positive for Esptein Bar Virus

IgG1, positive for rubeola (measles)IgM1, varicella zoster IgG1 and

cytomegalovirus IgM1 was borderline, he prescribed valtrex to him for this, have

anyone had similiar test result? He prescribed valtrex for him because of this

and also to lower his adenisione level. I just received the prescripation today

and it is the generic form valacyclovir hydrochloride 500mg 3x a day. I'm a bit

confused since it is the generic form of valtrex there is no blue coating to

wash off but there is this black letter number writing narking on it and it says

M122, should I wash that off before crushing it and putting in his drink he

doesn't like to swallow tablets just capsules.

Another thing his DAN also prescribed monolaurin because his OATs test showed

one marker for yeast vs certain food to take in with the valtrex for yeast. I

look forward to correspond with you guys

Thank you

maggie
