Guest guest
Professional Education and Resources Company (PERCOM) is proud to announce that we are offering the following initial courses through distance education: First Responder/ECA EMT-Basic EMS Instructor The Coordinator and Lead Instructor Jane (Hill) Dinsmore has been a leader in online EMS education programs since 1998. The new program has more " bells and whistles " than ever before, and the format is extremely user friendly. There are opportunities to supplement learning in the First Responder and Basic classes that involve puzzles, games, and weekly scenario chat rooms. For First Responder and EMT-Basic, the didactic portion is offered online. Three day training and testing sessions are offered in various locations on a regular basis such as Austin, Mineral Wells, and Tyler. Clinical and field rotations for the Basic program are offered through a ative Agreement with Tyler Junior College in East Texas, with credit or non-credit clinical classes available. While attending these rotations will require travel if you live outside of the East Texas area, it should be fairly easy to arrange back-to-back days of rotations so that you can complete that portion of training with minimal back and forth travel if you choose. However, TJC is offering this portion of the course at a significantly reduced rate to keep your expenses as low as possible. The EMS Instructor course online (originally designed and offered for the first time in the state by Mrs. Dinsmore) is also available, and all requirements may be completed through distance education and will require no travel for course completion. It has been updated to include the current elements of the National Association of EMS Educators curriculum. Course tuition $: ECA/First Responder $450.00 EMT-Basic $475.00 + $25.00 (in state tuition with no fees if you are not attending any other concurrent courses at TJC) (out of state tuition $200.00) EMT Instructor $150.00 To obtain more information or to register and pay online, please see our website at http://percomonline.com . _________________________________________________________________ In a rush? Guest guest
Congrats Jane. I thank you for the wonderful online education you provided me with in your previous school in both my EMT-I and my instructor courses. I wish you the best. Quality online education is filling a very large need in many fields and it is nice to see it has now become more of an option in EMS. I am confident any student that chooses your school will walk away a quality healthcare professional that would be an asset to any service.
