Yes, I'm considering botox. But, it'll be January before I can receive any botox treatments.Dan U dao_nguu@...

DanAre you considering the botox? Baclofen is a tough med for me too. Since I quit the neurontin and the baclofen I feel so much more alert and "part of things".

So, it's good to be seeing her. She suggests botox injections for my spasticity as baclofen makes me tired and depressed. She's also suggesting keeping an eye on studies going on for fingolomid for progressive forms of MS..Dan U dao_nguu@...

I hope things continue to go well with her too. I am always afraid I'll 'jinx' myself by saying I love my doctor. lol Didn't you see you see your new neurologist? How did that go?

A lot of doctors just don't know about alternative meds available for treating blood pressure. I hope things continue to go well with her.Dan U dao_nguu@...

I saw my new doctor yesterday and I LOVE her. She is well versed in MS, in fact better than some neurologists I have had before. She was easy to talk to and really took time with me. I will see her again in a month to check my blood pressure. I had stopped taking both my blood pressure med and my thyroid med because of stomach pain and the horrible dry mouth I suffer with. She changed my blood pressure med because she said the one I was on was known to cause dry mouth. Why didn't any other doctor tell me that when I constantly complained of dry mouth??? She said I really must take my thyroid med, too. My blood pressure was up yesterday so I guess I really do need to take something:)
